Students studied the ways various types of helpers work in our community. To show they understood what a particular profession did, they used props and clothing items and practiced a fact to share. Children had complete choice (which is why a particular profession is so well represented!) The children had to practice their line for fluency, address the camera directly, and then played back their video clips to make sure they were complete. A teacher held the camera and gave a cue for the children to begin speaking, and combined the clips together.
